550 evacuated after fire breaks out in NCR mall

A fire broke out in Aditya Mall in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, resulting in the evacuation of around 550 people. The fire was caused by a short circuit in the electric cables on the ground floor, leading to smoke filling the four auditoriums where people were watching movies. Despite the panic, mall staff and fire department teams successfully evacuated everyone with no injuries reported. The mall authorities have stated that the fire fighting equipment was up to date and there were no lapses on their part. The movie halls are currently closed for repair work.
