NDMC:- NDMC in its Council meeting held today presided over by Chairman NDMC implemented the Mid Day Meal scheme in August 2003 and 60 schools out of 82 schools were covered in the year 2003-04. At present, M/s Annamrita Foundation, M/s Akshaya Patra Foundation & M/s Manjeet Caterer are supplying freshly cooked mid-day meals in 44 schools. The Council accord the approval to publish RFP for selection of NGO/CSOs/Caterers/Voluntary Organisations for setting up a Semi- Automated Kitchen, at his own cost, in the space available at Atal Adarsh Bengali Girl Sr. Secondary School, Gole Market, for cooking, supplying and serving freshly cooked hot mid-day meal under PM Poshan Scheme, as per the menu decided by NDMC to the 7000-8000 students of 06 (six) NDMC/Navyug schools in Gole Market area initially for a period of for three years and further extendable up to 2 more years subject to satisfactory performance of the mid-day meal supplier with the recommendations of Sub-Committee.
NDMC Right of Way (ROW) Policy for areas under jurisdiction of NDMC for underground infrastructure and over ground telecommunication infrastructure. Setting up of 156 Communication Cellular Mobile Towers on Wheels (CoWs) in NDMC area" is going on for 03 groups of 52 towers in each group was awarded to M/s Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. for Group A and C with stipulated date of start and completion as 11.03.2019 to 10.03.2022 and M/s Indus Towers Ltd. for Group B with stipulated date of start and completion 23.03.2019 to 22.03.2022 respectively for the duration of 03 years. It is pertinent to mention here that at present total 148 CoWs in an existence due to constraint sites against the 156 CoWs.
NDMC to adopt the RoW policy issued by the GNCTD. NDMC has been mandated by the Act to formulate the policy in its jurisdiction. The rates per sq. ft. for tower/cell site/ CoW is very high as it sums up to Rs. 2.91 Lacs per CoW per month. NDMC levies the fixed charges in consonance with the directions issued by the Ministry of Urban Affairs (MoHUA).The Council approved the Draft of “NDMC Right of Way (Row) Policy” for areas under jurisdiction of NDMC for underground infrastructure and over ground telecommunication infrastructure. The Chairman may issue guidelines for implementation of the Policy aligning it with the current scenario from time to time.
Strengthening of water supply infrastructure assets in NDMC area - Individual piped water connection in the JJ Cluster and remaining unauthorized colonies under AMRUT 2.0 Scheme.During the council meeting held on 30.03.2022, the Approval in Principle has been accorded by the Council to prepare a detailed case for Har Ghar Jal scheme under Jal Jeevan Mission. A proposal has been prepared to provide the individual water connection to each household of the JJ Clusters in NDMC area under the scheme of Har Ghar Jal (Jal Jeevan Scheme of Ministry of Jal Shakti). The Council accord the administrative approval and expenditure sanction amounting to Rs. 12.73 crore for the work of Individual piped water connection in the JJ Cluster and remaining unauthorized colonies under AMRUT 2.0 scheme along with permission to split up the work in part -A,B & C at the time of Detailed Estimate and to call the tender.
Strengthening of water supply system in NDMC area. Providing and fixing new water meters in place of defective water meters/provisional billing in consumer connection line in NDMC area. The case is regarding by the commercial department Earlier an estimate was framed for providing mechanical water meters amounting to Rs.1.43 crores, which was concurred by the planning department and finance department.
Implementation of decentralized wastewater treatment solution to improve Water Quality in Kushak Nallah. The Council resolved to award the work of "Implementation of decentralized wastewater treatment solution to improve Water Quality Kushak Nallah (Open Drain) from S.P Marg to Kamal Attaturk Marg, New Delhi" to Ganga, IIT- Kanpur on nomination basis.
And also resolved by the Council to accord an amount of Rs. 169.57 Crore by for execution and 12 years Operation & M maintenance including annual 5% escalation after defects liability period of one year.
Collection, transportation and dumping of construction and demolition (C & D) waste from NDMC Area. NDMC being a municipal body is responsible for removal of construction and demolition waste. This includes all the materials that are generated as a waste either during the construction or repair or re-modelling or demolition (including deconstruction and decommissioning) of any civil structure. Council accord the Administrative Approval & Expenditure Sanction of preliminary Estimate amounting to 52.79 crore for collection transportation and dumping of Construction and demolition (C & D) waste from NDMC area for a period of 5 years extendable by 2 years.
Operation, Repair and Maintenance of existing PTUs / CTUs / Roll Call Centers in lieu of Advertisement Rights in NDMC area on PPP Model. By providing 350 PTUs/CTUs & 17 Roll Call Centers in the NDMC area, NDMC contributes to the overall cleanliness and well-being of the community it serves. Out of the 350 PTUs / CTUs , 142 are maintained by concessionaires, 6 CTUs are maintained by Sulabh International, and 202 PTUs / CTUs are maintained by NDMC through a private agency. The Council accord the approval
(i) To invite RFP for the work of "Operation, Repair and Maintenance of existing PTUs/CTUs / Roll Call Centers in lieu of Advertisement Rights in NDMC area on PPP Model" comprising 173 Nos. PTUs/CTUs and 17 Nos. Roll Call Centers. (ii) The Department at present is managing operation and maintenance of these PTUs / CTUs through an outsource agency and expenditure will be continued to be incurred for the same until the award of aforesaid work. Council meeting held today presided over by Chairman, NDMC Shri Amit Yadav in the presence of Vice-Chairperson - Shri Satish Upadhyay, MLA & Member NDMC, Shri Virender Singh Kadian, Council Members – Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Smt. Vishakha Shailani, Shri Girish Sachdeva and Secretary, NDMC Shri Krishna Mohan Uppu considered and approved the various Citizen centric, Employee welfare and infrastructure related proposals.
