Indonesian president brushes off talk of political dynasty

Indonesia's President Joko Widodo, also known as Jokowi, has brushed off criticism of building a political dynasty as he nears the end of his term. He stated that the choice of leader should be left to the people. However, his appointment of relatives to political positions has raised concerns. Jokowi's youngest son was recently named leader of a youth party, his son-in-law is the mayor of Medan, and his eldest son is the mayor of Solo and a potential vice presidential candidate.
