Citibank fires staffer over anti-Semitic post

Citi has fired a personal banker, Nozima Husainova, for making an anti-Semitic post praising Hitler and the Holocaust. Husainova commented on a post about the Gaza hospital bombing, saying, "No wonder why Hitler wanted to get rid of them all," with a smiley face emoji. Citi's spokesperson condemned the post as "revolting" and stated that the bank does not tolerate hate speech. In recent weeks, other companies, including a top law firm, have withdrawn job offers to students who blamed Israel for the Hamas attacks.
