Courage etched on the faces of vulnerable street children- Sapnon ki Udaan
New Delhi : Saina Munjal’s works at this exhibit draw a connection between shelter homes and the masks portrayed in her photographs. She encouraged the girls to create masks as a form of free artistic and emotional expression, mirroring her own approach to photography. The girls embraced the essence of art through individuality, unleashing their creativity in crafting masks, whether whimsical or adorned with crystals. These masks served a dual purpose—protecting their anonymity and privacy, particularly due to their challenging backgrounds, prioritizing their safety. Through her photographs and a film, she seeks to highlight the significance of providing a secure and non-judgmental environment for children to express themselves freely. Saina is a young photographer She has been exploring street photography since the age of 6. She has attended several workshops with Indian and international photographers expanding her knowledge to portraiture as well as studio photography.
