Indians help Apple reach another milestone in 2023

India's smartphone shipments remained flat at 152 million units in 2023, with Apple surpassing 10 million units and capturing the top revenue position. The premium segment and 5G upgrades drove the market growth, with 5G smartphone shipments reaching 52% share. Samsung led overall shipments, while Vivo dominated the affordable premium segment. Apple's focus on India and attractive trade-in values contributed to its growth. Other brands like OnePlus, Transsion, Google, Lava, and Motorola also experienced positive growth.
