Police bust 'wife swapping party' in Chennai, arrest eight

A prostitution racket operating under the guise of "wife swapping" parties has been uncovered by the police in Chennai. The racket had been running for eight years across various cities in Tamil Nadu. The organisers targeted single men and introduced women as their wives, encouraging them to swap partners. The gang used social media platforms to promote the parties, charging between ₹13,000 and ₹25,000 for entry. The police arrested eight men and rescued several women who had been lured by the promise of money. The men have been remanded in custody.
