Retd police officer shot dead by terrorists at Baramulla mosque

A retired police, Mohd Shafiat, officer was shot dead by terrorists on Sunday morning inside a mosque in Jammu & Kashmir's Baramulla. He was offering Azan in a mosque at Gantmulla, Sheeri Baramulla when the terrorists fired upon him. The area has been cordoned off. Meanwhile, security personnel have been deployed in the Poonch district's Bafliaz area as part of an operation to bring down terrorists in the forest area of Dera ki Gali in the Rajouri sector following the deaths of troops in an ambush on Thursday.
