New Delhi :- The India Trade Promotion Organisation deserves all appreciation as this fair edition has been organised with larger participation than the previous editions. Every year, IITF is growing in size and scale and ITPO is consistently delivering IITF as a world-class event stated out by the Hon'ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India Shri Piyush Goyal, inaugurating the 43rd edition of the IITF of ITPO at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, today. Shri Piyush Goyal emphasized to organise more international exhibitions like Bharat Tex, Bharat Mobility, World Food Fair, etc. HCIM also stressed upon that efforts should be made to organise virtual exhibitions. Present on the occasion were Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola, Chairman and Managing Director, ITPO and Shri Jitender Singh, Secretary Government of Jharkhand, Shri Premjit Lal, Executive Director, ITPO, foreign delegates, exhibitors and media persons. Shri Piyush Goyal commended ITPO and all other stakeholders for providing an ideal platform to the industry, especially to start-ups, women entrepreneurs and rural artisans. He has also suggested that ITPO should organize two fairs in a year i.e. in May/June and name may be given as “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” to showcase the power of “Swadeshi”. He also emphasized to visit the stall of Gatishakti setup in Hall No.14.
This year, “Viksit Bharat@2047” is the theme of the fair as envisioned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister to transform Bharat into a developed entity by its 100th year of independence in 2047. In his welcome address, Shri Pradeep Singh Kharola, CMD, ITPO, highlighted the salient features of IITF 2024. He said that ITPO has made extensive efforts to improve the overall experience of participation for the exhibitors and visitors. ITPO has introduced Navigation App through which the visitors can get access to the particular stall and Golf Cart service on payment basis. This year all the States and Union Territories i.e. 33 nos. are participating in the event. He also assured that this time the exhibitors and visitors will not face any problem in mobile network and can easily make digital payment. This year all the Gates of Bharat Mandapam are operational and ITPO has made arrangements for pick-up and drop facility at the basement parking. The basement parking no.1 & 2 are fully operational and total 4500 nos. vehicles could be parked. For organizing IITF 2024, full area of Bharat Mandapam has been utilized. He also appealed to all the stakeholders to put their best foot forward to make this grand event a success.
Shri Jitender Singh, Secretary, Government of Jharkhand happily informed that Jharkhand would be completing its 24th year of its existence on 15th November, 2024. The fair is open for Business Visitors from November 14 to 18, 2024, while all the visitors can visit the fair from November 19 to 27, 2024. There will be no sale of tickets at any of the Bharat Mandapam Gates and Supreme Court Metro Station. The tickets are available through the Bharat Mandapam App, Delhi Metro App Momentum2.0 Delhi Sarthi mobile app as well as ITPO website (www.indiatradefair.com) and Delhi Metro website (www.itpo.autope.in) and 55 metro stations.
