Apple and Google have removed these two apps after govt order
Google and Apple have removed the eSIM apps Airalo and Holafly from their app stores in India following orders from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to curb cyber fraud. The DoT has also instructed internet service providers and telecom companies to block the websites of these apps. The apps were banned because fraudsters were using unauthorized eSIMs with international phone numbers to commit cybercrimes in India. Other eSIM providers like Nomad eSIM and aloSIM are still available for users in India.
