Historic 365th Music for Meditation Concert Indraprastha Raga Sagara at Bharat Mandapam

New Delhi :- 365th Music for Meditation concert, titled Indraprastha Raga Sagara, was conducted by His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji. This landmark concert was not merely another musical performance; it marked the culmination of a remarkable global spiritual journey spanning decades, during which Sri Swamiji has used the medium of music as a transformative tool for healing, meditation, and inner awakening. The completion of 365 concerts symbolically represents a full cycle-akin to the days of a year-each concert being a luminous bead in a garland of Nada Brahma, the cosmic sound.

Paramapujya Sri Swamiji chose the profound and evocative Keeravani as the principal raga for meditation and healing. Known for its deep emotional resonance and introspective quality, Keeravani has the rare ability to traverse the inner landscapes of the human mind-evoking devotion, surrender, and a sense of transcendence. As the first notes emerged, the vast hall was enveloped in a meditative stillness. The music did not merely entertain; it invoked. It did not seek applause.

Hon’ble Vice President of India, Sri C. P. Radhakrishnan, conveyed a deeply moving spiritual video message. His message acknowledged the extraordinary contribution of  Sri Swamiji in reviving and propagating India’s ancient traditions of Nada Yoga and emphasized the role of such initiatives in fostering inner peace and societal harmony. Audience of over 2,000 attendees filled the Plenary Hall of the Bharat Mandapam representing a cross-section of society-devotees, connoisseurs of classical music, professionals, and seekers of spiritual solace. For nearly two hours, they remained spellbound, immersed in a deeply transformative experience.

Leading the accompaniment was Padma Vibhushan Dr. L. Subramaniam on violin, whose sublime artistry seamlessly blended with Sri Swamiji’s compositions. The rhythmic foundation was provided by Vidwan Ramkumar Mishra on tabla and Vidwan Shankar Ramesh on mridangam, whose interplay created a dynamic yet meditative cadence. The melodic textures were enriched by the soulful flute of Pandit Chandan Kumar and the violin support of Vidwan Jaitra Varanasi. The tonal depth was further enhanced by Sri Prasanna on ghatam and Sri Mani Narasimham on keyboard support. Together, they formed not just an orchestra but a spiritual collective-each artist dissolving individuality to become an instrument of a higher vibration. A Mesmerizing Experience for a Spellbound.
