Music is next to Godliness States - Dr. Sumita Chakraborty

New Delhi :- A renowned Artist Dr. Sumita Chakraborty a Sitar Player believes that Music is way to live ,to concentrate and built focus in life and  also succeed in Spirituality  She  has won laurels at  national and International level She is artist for Doorarshan and Akashvani where she performed vividly.

 Born in Allahabad to Artist mother Smt Shakti Mukherjee who had in-depth knowledge of music during her initial years she was taught music by her mother and in her later year she was disciple of  Padam Bhusan Pandit Debu Chaudhary and Pandit HariPrasad Chaurasia She has Completed her M.Phil and P.hd in Music and is Spreading Music by teaching in Dulat Ram College of Delhi University .

The whole environment is positively charged and people are mesmerized when she plays sitar and she is gone a way ahead to give back to world of Music she has written Books -   Melody Music and Statements in Indian Music ,Statements in Hindustani Classical Music : Role and Performances.
