NDMC’s School Annual Science Fair 160 Trophies, 156 Citation Certificates, 62 prizes gave away for the best judged exhibits

New Delhi:-  NDMC Chairman Amit Yadav gave away the prizes to the  NDMC’s Schools Annual Science Fair winners for the best judged exhibits at NDCC Convention Center, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi in the presence of Vice-Chairman, NDMC Shri Satish Upadhyay  About 160 Trophies, 156 Citation Certificates, 62 prizes gave away for the best judged exhibits of the NDMC’s School Annual Science Fair.  Total 350 students with their 90 teachers from 43 schools participated in the Annual Science Fair to showcase about 60 exhibits in the form of models, charts, science play etc.

After visiting the NDMC School Science Fair, Shri Yadav said that two days science fair is the best ground for example of learning by doing in which young minds displayed their scientific temperament with innovative practice in the form of modals, charts and plays etc. He hopes that these scientific innovations by the students will make a culture to learn and make life easy.  The ability and cognitive enhancement of the students will definitely be encouraged by these types of activities at the school levels. We will do better in the future with more participants. He also said that we will consider the plan of tour at scientific places like ISRO, CSIR laboratories for teachers and students for the encouragement of scientific activities.
 
On the occasion, Vice-Chairman NDMC Shri Upadhyay appreciated the efforts of all students and teachers who are engaged to conceptualize and implement the theme of all activities of the successful Science Fair. He informed that on 26th – 27th July, 2023 the Science Fair was organised at the cluster level in the six schools in which 43 schools participated with 129 exhibits, out of them 60 exhibits were scrutinized. Finally, 60 exhibits were displayed at this Science Fair. All activities were outstanding in the Science Fair and the expression without hesitation of every student was mind-blowing.    
 
 New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) organised a two days NDMC's Schools Annual Science Fair on Tuesday, 05th to 6th December, 2023 at NDCC Convention Center, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi to showcasing scientific creativities in the forms of models & Charts by its school's blooming scientist. The theme of the Science Fair is “Technology and Toys”.        As many as 7500 students, teachers, parents and the general public visited the Science Fair and appreciated the efforts of young scientists.  Apart from NDMC Schools, some public schools, National Science Center, Science Magazine-Science Reporter and Avishkar were amongst those participating in the Science Fair. Science Games, quiz, debate, health mela, science toys etc. were also attractions of Science Fair.
