New Delhi :- NIRDPR-PCI partnership underlined the potential of collaborative efforts in holistic development of the Aspirational Blocks. Addressing the meeting, Dr. G Narendra Kumar (IAS), DG NIRD-PR expressed that the PCI’s collaboration will be valuable in supporting the Government of India in strengthening programs and policies by fostering efficiency in the rural development initiatives.  

NIRDPR is the apex think-tank of the Government of India working under the aegis of the Ministry of Rural Development. whereas the PCI is an Indian non-profit organization that confronts critical health and development issues in India from ensuring access to health services, ending malnutrition, and improving reproductive health to building resilience to environmental risks and achieving gender equality.

The MoU was signed by Shri Manoj Kumar (Registrar and Director NIRDPR) and Dr. Sowmya Ramesh (Executive Director, PCI) in the presence of Dr. Ruchira Bhattacharya, Dr. Kathiresan, Shri Chiranji Lal and Dr. Venkat Mallu from NIRDPR and Shri Punit Mishra (Lead-Partnerships, Population Council).
