Pakistan caretaker government releases 34 more Baloch protesters
Pakistan caretaker government released 34 more Baloch protestors arrested in a crackdown after legal requirements were fulfilled. They were released on the advice of a negotiation committee constituted by Caretaker PM Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, headed by privatization minister Fawad Hasan Fawad as marchers demanded immediate release of arrested people. Baloch people are protesting against the 'extra-judicial killing' of Baloch youth by Counter-Terrorism Department officials which was also strongly condemned by human rights organisations. Baloch Yakjehti Committee gave a seven-day ultimatum to the Pakistan government for fulfillment of demands, including the elimination of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.
