Rakeysh on shooting Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in Pakistan

Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra shared about choosing to tell Milkha Singh's story on celluloid, his meeting with Singh and zeroing in on Farhan Akhtar for the role. The film, "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag", is gearing up for a re-release a decade after its release. Mehra said that Singh was the victim of the partition of India, and to weave the story around his life with the backdrop of the partition was inspiring. The facilities were not the same, the communication was not the same; still, he challenged the world in their own sport, in their own backyard, and won.
