Test can reveal the risk of heart attack in five minutes

A recent study by Swedish researchers introduces a home test that can detect the risk of heart attacks in individuals aged 50-64 within five minutes. The test consists of 14 questions related to various health factors to identify those with significant coronary atherosclerosis. “A heart attack often comes out of the blue,” says Göran Bergström, Professor of Clinical Physiology at Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, senior physician at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, and principal investigator of the study.
