NDMC's Theme based special arrangement at 10 Polling Stations

New Delhi :-   General Lok Sabha Elections and in order to make special arrangement for general people as well as who’s who for voting in its area, New Delhi Municipal Council ( NDMC ) is in full swing to do utmost efforts for make good looking and feel - good scenario at all the designated polling stations for public and who’s who in New Delhi area.  NDMC is the unique civic body in the nation who provide it's civic amenities to all VVIPs in its area. Most of the Legislatives, Judicial  and executives are residing in NDMC area, who will cast their vote with general public on 25th May in its local designated polling stations in NDMC area.  As their previous records of hospitality and efforts  on special occasions, NDMC are doing every efforts for making theme based booth or polling stations wherein voters will visiting to cast their vote with special feel good as Festival of Democracy. 

Which VVIPs will cast vote in NDMC area: Hon'ble President of India , Vice President of India , Chief Justice of India, Former President of India , Former Vice President of India , Former Prime Minister of India, Former Chief Justice of India, Former Election Commission of India, Judges of the Supreme Court and High Court , Union Ministers , Cabinet Secretary , Union Ministries'  Secretary, Leaders of the Various Political Parties, Members of Parliament and family members of the all VVIPs. 

Where NDMC make special arrangement: Dr Rajendra Parsad Kendriya Vidyalaya- President Estate, CPWD Service Station - North Avenues, Atal Adarsh Vidhyalaya - K.Kamraj Lane, NDMC School of Science & Humanities - Tugalaq Crescent, Reception Room - Nirman Bhawan , Delhi Kannada Sr. Sec School - Lodhi Estate , Sarvoday Vidhyalaya - Kidwai Nagar East , Wonderland Kids School - New Moti Bagh and Navyug School - Vinay Marg in New Delhi. 

NDMC's Theme based special arrangement at 10 Polling Stations - Making pink booth with floral decoration, green environment, Swachh Green & Person with Disabilities booth, Green Mobility and Save water, Selfie Points for Voters, Potted Plants at Booth locations, Power of Democracy theme , arrangement of matka water with glucose in waiting halls, green entry gate at model polling booths and pink polling booth ang Young Theme based polling booths with the theme of Power of Democracy at various locations to facilitate the Voters. 

Other efforts to increase the Voter Turnouts : NDMC coordinated with more than 92 restaurants/shops/ stores to offer a handsome discount to inked voters who will cast their votes on 25 May 2024 as a  part of ChunavKaParv and enjoy this Delicious Democracy Discount from favourite outlet.  Wide publicity to creat awareness and to urge citizens to cast their vote for strengthen the democracy, NDMC has installed banners , hoardings and screens for appealing to vote and use the power of democracy. Earlier, NDMC was organised a 6 km Voter awareness Bicycle Rally in association with Khan Market Traders Association in Khan Market and Lodhi Garden area. School Teachers are making crafts items and creative designs on the theme of democracy and elections for display in the voting stations.
